14-day right of withdrawal

Under Articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have 14 calendar days from the date you (or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier) physically take possession of the goods to withdraw from your purchase without having to give a reason and without penalty. The starting point is the date of actual delivery, not the date the order was placed. If your order contains multiple items delivered separately, the 14-day period runs from receipt of the last item.

To exercise this right, simply inform us before the deadline by email at info@lahomodefr.com or by phone at +33 6 67 04 43 15, quoting your order number. You may also use the withdrawal form available on request, or any other unambiguous statement expressing your decision to withdraw. You are not required to state why you are returning the item. If you choose to tell us the reason, that information is optional and its absence will not affect your right to a refund.

Return conditions

Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, with tags attached and in original packaging where possible. This is a condition of the return being accepted in the condition in which it was received; it is not a condition of exercising your statutory right of withdrawal. Items made to your specifications or clearly personalised are excluded from the right of withdrawal under Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

Return shipping costs

For a standard withdrawal, the cost of returning the item is borne by you. If the item delivered is defective, damaged, or does not correspond to your order, Lahomodefr bears the return shipping cost and refunds the initial delivery charge in addition to the item price.

Refund timeline

Once your return is received at our warehouse in Aiguilhe, we inspect it within 1 to 2 business days. The refund is then initiated to the original payment method. The banking system typically takes up to 8 business days for the refund to appear on your statement. In all cases, the refund will be completed no later than 14 calendar days from the date we are informed of your decision to withdraw, in accordance with Article L221-24 of the French Consumer Code. We will confirm by email when the refund has been processed on our side.
